Welcome to Door County unincorporated! What's the name of this Peninsula? Serious sailing, great golf and the family wedding. Thanks a lot! The M's Great porch, great biking, great proximity to downtown Fish Creek. Love Mr. Helsinki's and the Lower Deck. Peninsula State Park has so much as does Fish Creek. Great cherry picking at Orchard County Vineyard. The C's Spent a week with good friends and enjoyed beautiful Door County. Went to the beaches during the day and had lovely cool evenings. The K's, B's and M's Thanks Steve, Love the house and the porch, too! The Ladies from Denver and Grandma! Great place to get together. In the middle of everything. We biked, went to the beaches, ate a lot of good food, but best of all was being together as a family with all the kids and just having fun. The L's & W's What a grand spot to celebrate Mom's 60th birthday. We loved biking through Peninsual State Park, but our favorite was Cottage Row on the bluffs. Blue Horse has the best coffee in town, Julie's has warm service, great food and is kid friendly, too. Just kicking back at the house and dwadling on the porch- we loved it. We will be coming back. The H's Our family has been gathering at the Ellmann House for about fifteen years. We come from all over the U.S. and the house is great for us. Lots of room, spacious kitchen, great porch and large yard. We enjoyed a meal of brats and wonderful Wisconsin sweet corn and cherry pie so the grill and picnic table are a plus. The wrap around porch is ideal for morning coffee, afternoon reading of books and most especially drinks and appetizers in the early evening. The house is especially suited for us and we look forward to it every year. Even though we know it is a rental property, it feels like it belongs to us. Helen G. I'm a repeater at the Ellman House and feel like its a second home. I can't wait to get there and it always seems too short a stay. I make the trip from Minneapolis with my family. The porch is the best and the weather doesn't matter because of the house and close proximity to various shops, restaurants, the lake and the grocery store. The kitchen is big and many great meals have been shared there as well as puzzles and games. Laurel R. This week was absolutely wonderful. The House is beautiful, warm and welcoming. Rich G. Door County has been a tradition of our family for my entire life. We are now glad to make this house a tradition also! Many nights were spent in the living room and around the fire reminiscing about past vacations in Door County. Thank you very much for having us back and we look forward to being here next year at the same time. The H's, the K's and the G's Gather a group of women together from 2 on up and you will have such warmth. Laughter like you never heard before.
